HealthBridge is a not-for-profit corporation that supports health information technology (HIT) adoption, health information exchange (HIE), and innovative use of information for improved health care outcomes. For well over a decade, HealthBridge has been recognized as one of the nation’s largest, most advanced, and most financially sustainable health information exchanges (HIE).
The Tri-State REC is a collaboration between a number of leaders in health information technology (HIT) and health information exchange (HIE) - HealthBridge, HealthLINC, CCHIE, NeKY RHIO, and UK. The Tri-State REC has a goal of serving approximately 1,700 providers in parts of Ohio, Indiana and Kentucky. Overall federal incentive payments could bring in as much as $75 million in additional federal funding for the tri-state regional.
The Kentucky REC, housed at the University of Kentucky, is one of more than sixty regional extension centers that received funding from the Office of the National Coordinator for Health Information Technology in the US Department of Health and Human Services.
HealthLINC is a health information exchange committed to improving care in Southern Indiana. HealthLINC is organized to coordinate health care information by providing a community-wide clinical data and information exchange to the health care community.
