ICD-10 became effective October 1, 2015 and healthcare hasn’t been the same since. Identified through needs of the clinics we serve, we have developed a Billing and Coding Communities of Practice (CoP). Through this CoP we are able to leverage the education and experience of both on-staff and in-clinic individuals to provide ongoing support. Members of our CoP are able to quickly reach our billing and coding specialist to ask questions, obtain research and best practices when dealing with issues.
Some sample services include:
- Provider Documentation – Needing education to increase accuracy of provider documentation? Our group is provided ongoing tips for increased documentation accuracy to ensure the highest level of reimbursement is provided.
- Research – Often research is needed to determine why a code was denied, or the best billing practices yet many clinics are trying to simply stay caught up with the daily demands. Let NeKY RHIO do the research for you! Our experienced team, and network, are able to leverage education and experience to find the answers to your questions.
- Chronic Care Management – Our team has attended trainings, conducted research and talked with successful utilizer’s of this program and can provide tailored assistance with implementation.
- Isolated Trainings – Looking to educate staff members or providers on best practices? Our team can conduct on-site, tailored trainings for a wide range of topics.
