The clinical experience is based upon your employment status. If an individual applies to the program with over 1 year of healthcare employment experience and/or have graduated with a healthcare (or IT) degree/certificate, they will have the option of choosing a health IT project or choose a clinical internship for experience in different areas. Those with less employment experience or educational background involvement mentioned, will complete a clinical internship as a part of the Phase 2 (apprenticeship).
